Founded in 1976 to manufacture aluminium doors & windows, the 1980's saw the implementation of a concerted diversification programme which resulted in a group of integrated operating divisions offering a comprehensive range of construction & industrial products. These products & services licensing agreements with leading European and American manufacturers and consultants.

A comprehensive design service allows Alico to manufacture tailor made engineering solutions to the requirements of consultants and clients. Alico's Technical Design Department employs fully qualified engineers & technicians and operates over 60 Computer Aided Design (CAD) stations. All machinery & equipment used in Alico's factory are technically advanced with the use of computer-aided machinery together with suitably qualified personnel to operate them.

Alico's installation teams consist of well trained & experienced experienced, highly skilled field operatives. Established lines of communication between the work site, Technical design department and the factory ensure that the customer is always provided with the best possible cost effective and practical solutions.

Two coating line at Alico's factory offer high quality finishing in either Duranar or Valspar flouropolymer wet coating, or dry applied Polyester powder coating.

Gulf Glass Industries Co. (GGI), a sister concern of Alico, was established in1991 to provide state of the art locally processed glass products. Using the most technologically advanced machinery which includes a computerized horizontal tempering plant, automated assembly line for the insulated glass units, and the latest in glass laminating lines, GGI has supplied world class glass products to the Middle East, Asia, Europe and Australia.

Alico is very active internationally and have completed projects in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Oman, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, India, Pakistan, Sudan, Nepal, Russia and the UK.
